The goal of MentorConnect is to connect as many students as possible.  During the building phase of the program there may be too many students or too many mentors.  You can help by spreading the word about this free service.  I thank you for your interest in the program and commend you for wanting to "make a difference in the life of a child!"

About the founder: Teresa Cooper earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2000. She then went on to earn her Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She has two sons who keep her busy and make her laugh. She is passionate about helping chidren find and develop their passions.

The MentorConnect program was built on the following beliefs:
- Students can increase their own knowledge of a subject by teaching it to others
- Young children look up to and admire older children
- Many young people don't get to pursue their dreams because of financial hardship
- Children will have confidence in themselves, if they get an opportunity to develop their talents or pass on what they know.
